ACTION ALERT UPDATE: Oprah show on puppymills, Friday, 4 April 2008.

Oprah did take on puppy mills! Lisa Ling's undercover investigative report on where those cute puppies in pet stores really come from was hopefully an eye-opener for her viewers. Also hopefully, some of them will be outraged enough to take action. Oprah dedicated this show to her late dog, Sophie, and said, "I would never, ever adopt another pet now without going to a shelter to do it. I am a changed woman after seeing this show."

Please let Oprah know how much you appreciate her giving national exposure to this national disgrace! Also, please ask her to not just let the issue drop, but perhaps schedule a follow-up show or invite some legislators who are working for anti-puppy mill legislation to be her guests. You can leave feedback on her Message Board or through the email link on her website.
